Normalization of too High Blood Pressure in Pregnant Women with a Mild Form of the OPH-Syndrome

Under investigation were pregnant women in the third trimester of pregnancy with a mild degree of OPH-syndrome (gestosis – nephropathy – with swellings at the feet, later at the whole body, hypertension, too much protein in urine).

Medical Resonance Therapy Music® Group

For 7-10 days 13 women listened to the Medical Resonance Therapy Music® in the morning and after lunch and had no other therapy during these days. Before starting with the treatment blood pressure was between 130-150 mm hg. After the treatment it showed a normal level, which means below 130 mm hg. On average it reduced by 15-20 mm hg.
Control Group

14 women in this group received sedative and hypotensive drugs as well as a phytotherapeutic treatment. Before the treatment blood pressure counted 130-150 mm hg. Due to the treatment with hypotensive and sedative drugs it normalized, but much slower than in the Medical Resonance Therapy Music® group.

Further comments

Since the introduction of the Medical Resonance Therapy Music® there were no more deaths due to gestosis in the hospital and a significant reduction of premature births could be recorded.
