Fi­nally, the lis­tener per­ceives fur­ther motif-un­fold­ments, and ever more motif-un­fold­ments; and gradu­ally he be­gins to iden­tify him­self with these other motif-un­fold­ments, too – he no­tices how he treads sev­eral mu­si­cal paths of knowl­edge si­mul­ta­ne­ously.

 
Treading Several Cognitive Paths in Music Simultaneously
In this man­ner, the lis­tener makes the per­sonal ex­peri­ence of a so­cial be­ing. Within him­self he makes the ex­peri­ence of an en­tire com­mu­nity of in­di­vid­uals in the proc­ess of gain­ing knowl­edge.
And through this he learns to make more and more in­di­vid­ual ex­peri­ences si­mul­ta­ne­ously, to re­late them to each other and to unify them.

 
Experience of the Live Creative Multiplicity
On the level of the mu­si­cal se­quence-space, the fires of cog­ni­tion burn with that bright­ness which in­di­vid­uals spread eve­ry­where in the happy commun­ion with their fel­low men.
One is re­minded of the shin­ing eyes of lovers as they be­come aware of their mani­fold mutual af­fec­tion.
But often in the se­quence-spaces one also sees with the eyes of a fa­ther who fol­lows the do­ings of his chil­dren with shin­ing eyes.

 
The Radiance of the Sequences in Music
In the se­quence-spaces the lis­tener now li­ves these mu­si­cal cog­ni­tive paths of a so­cial com­mu­nity of in­di­vid­uals.
He ex­peri­ences them mu­si­cally in the si­mul­ta­ne­ous de­vel­op­ment of very dis­tinct melo­dies – he ex­peri­ences them in the mu­si­cal world of the po­lyph­ony.
